Pattern 01 : Bodice

This is my first post & i will share my sewing patterns....I learned sewing when i was in high school & since then i just love sewing & improved a lot with trial & error.... i will try to share whatever i have learnt as simply as i can ,
I am going start with Bodice Pattern as its the most important
basic pattern.
Size :
- Small
Measurement :
- Bodice Length -- 13.5"
- Bust -- 32"
- Dart Point -- 10.5"
- Waist -- 26"
- Shoulder -- 13.5"
- Front Neck -- 6"
- Back Neck -- 5"
Calculation :
- Bust = (Bust + 2")/4
- Waist = (Waist + 2")/4
Steps :
- AB is ONFOLD & AB= 13.5 (length of Bodice)
- AC = 6.75"
- AD = 6.75" (Shoulder of Bodice)
- AD = CG
- CH=CG-1"
- CE = 8.5" (Bust of Bodice) (32+2=34, 34/4=8.5)
- BF = 7" (Waist of Bodice) (26+2=28, 28/4 =7)
- AI = 3.5"(Neck Width)(Depends upon Broadness of neck, ( 3" to 4.5")
- From D mark 0.5" & mark it as K. Join IK.
- KG is for Back Shoulder & KH is for Front Shoulder. Join them with Curved lines as shown in above figure.
- From AD go downwards 10.5" & mark it as L ( Apex, Dart Point).
- From B mark M as BM= 3.5".
- MO = MN = 0.5".
- Join LM ,LN & LO.
